This project was created for CONTACTLESS, the 14th exhibition of the Korean Society of Typography.

In this era of CONTACTLESS, caused by COVID-19, we recognize people from their eyes and above. We just imagine what is underneath the masks.

These alphapets are created with objets related to or which remind us of COVID-19. When writing words they are divided by syllables adding some more chaos to what is underneath the mask. Written objects over the head helps better understanding. They are written in the right order (e.g. DER: DOCTOR, EYES, RESPIRATORY SYSTEM).The order of images follows letterswritten on a syllable. However, it can be modified in case of hidden images.

The image of the last page visualizes the sentence: “WE JUST IMAGINE WHAT IS UNDERNEATH THE MASK”
